Switches
Core Switch - Netgear GSM7224 Gigabit Managed L2 Switch
Desk Switches - For each desk row we have a 24 port managed switch from either Netgear, Planet or Level One. All switches run at least a 1 gigabit uplink to the core switch which provides more than enough bandwidth for the requirements of our LAN events. With 100Mbps to every desk with our provided cables we would be hard pushed to max out this network with a LAN of CLUK''s size.
Network Servers
Netserv01: P4 1.8 / 1024mb RAM / Netgear 100Mbps Network Interface Card / Windows 2003 Server
Netserv01 provides all essential network functions on the CLUK Network, the server runs DHCP/DNS/WINS and acts as a routing box when required. Netserv01 also runs Apache/PHP/MySQL in order to host the event intranet
Netserv02: P4 2.26 / 1024mb RAM / Netgear 100Mbps Network Interface Card / Windows 2003 Server
Netserv02 provides the non-essential network facilities such as the FTP, Internal IRC server, Teamspeak and Ventrillo. Should Netserv01 fail, this server is setup ready to take over essential network services immediately.
h2g2: This server provides our internet routing and firewall.

Gaming Servers
Gameserv01: P4 2.8 / 1024mb RAM / Netgear 100Mbps Network Interface Card / Windows XP
Gameserv01 is our baby gaming server and therefore provides dedicated servers for some of the lower spec games.
Gameserv02: P4 3.4 / 1024mb RAM / Netgear 100Mbps Network Interface Card / Windows XP
Gameserv02 has a little more power than gameserv01 and takes some of the higher specification games.
Gameserv03: Dual P3 1.3 / 1024mb RAM / 100Mbps Network Interface Card / Windows 2003 Server
Gameserv03 runs all Half-Life Games.
CentralanUK plans to increase the capacity of its game servers over coming months as the size of the LANs increase to ensure that there is sufficient power in the game servers to handle all of our public and tournament servers at the events.
