£600 - World in Conflict (4v4) Rules
WiC (1) General Conduct
No 3rd party software is permitted to be used that would give you an unfair advantage (Excludes voice comms)
No Ghosting
No kicking opposing players from the server once the match is started. The team that commits this offence will automatically forfeit the match.
Starting the game with the wrong settings may result in the match becoming void. Please check server settings before starting a match.
Any application which can be used to aid a player to gain a unfair advantage over their opponent is illegal is cheating.
WiC (2) Dual-Clanning
You are NOT allowed to be in more than one clan playing World in Conflict at CLUK. If you are playing other tournaments you do not have to play with the same clan.
Mercing / Dual Accounting within the same clan or between clans is forbidden.
WiC (3) CLUK 19 Tournament structure
Group stage though to single elimination. Please note that this could be changed to double elimination depending on the amount of clans, any change will be discussed with the clan leaders.
WiC (4) The Game
Game Type: Domination
Time Limit: 20mins per Map – Best of 3
Class Limits: 1 player per class
Minimum Teams to trigger prize: 6
Maps will be selected by the admins for the group stages and by the teams for the elimination stage from the following list: do_ruins, do_riviera, do_powerplant, do_quarry, do_hometown, do_xmas, do_seaside, do_spaceneedle, do_island, do_silo, do_farmland, do_riverbed
WiC (5) Server Settings
Servers are not allowed to run any plugins, 3rd party or otherwise, during any CLUK Match.
Max Players should be set to 8
Resources must be set to 4000>2000
A Password must be placed on the server
[ReportToMassgate] 0 Makes the game hidden from Massgate
[Password] yourpassword Password for the game
[GameName] Name of server Name of the server
[ModName] no Turns any mods off
[NonLinearDominationDisabled] 1 Normal Domination mode ON
[MinPlayers] 4 Minimum number of players for game start
[MaxPlayers] 8 Maximum number of players
[StayOnTeam] Off Players will need to choose teams
[MatchMode] 1 Players need to be "ready".
[AutoBalanceTeams] 0 Turns Auto team balance off
[TimeLimitMultiplier] 0 Normal time (20mins)
[AllowSpectating] 0 Disallows Spectators
[AllowFreeSpectating] 0 Disallows Free Spectators
[NumAllowPlayersPerRole] 1 No more than 1 per role
[BotMode] 0
WiC (6) Scoring
Scores should be entered into the event intranet after completion of the round. Clan leaders are responsible for recording of match replays and screenshots of the final score board
End Scores will be entered as domination percentages - which are to be rounded up/down.
Examples:
50.4% would be rounded down to 50%
50.5% would be rounded up to 60%
50.6% would be rounded up to 60%
WiC (7) No Shows / Cancellations
Clans are expected to be on the server and ready to play with the minimum number of players at the scheduled or agreed upon time.
Any clan that fails to be present with the minimum amount of players and ready to play on a server 10 minutes after the match start time may forfeit the match. The other clan may be awarded a default win.
WiC (8) Spectators
The CLUK rules state that you cannot have spectators on the server during a match.
CLUK Admins reserve the right to spectate any official, friendly or event match and will have the tag of [CLUK]
WiC (9) Demos & Screenshots
Clan leaders are responsible for recording of match replays and screenshots of the final score board
WiC (10) Clients Dropping
If a player drops from the server, they can rejoin at any time. However, the match can be restarted ONLY if both teams agree to do so.
