What to Bring

Go through this list before you come along to the event to make sure you've got everything before you set off:

Your PC & Monitor (Note: dual monitor setups are not permitted)
All Related Cables (You do not need to bring an ethernet cable)
4-Way Power Strip
All Peripherals (Keyboard, Mouse, Mousemat etc.)
All CDs for your games, drivers and operating system
Wash Kit & Deodorant
Sleeping Stuff (Sleeping Bag, Mat/Airbed)
Tent (if you choose to camp)
Food & Drink (This venue has a bar and all alcohol must be purchased from the bar)
Photo ID
Money

We also recommend that if you are bringing laptops that you purchase a security device such as a Kensington lock as whilst CentralanUK does make every effort to keep the venue secure, the organisation does not take responsibility for any loss, theft of damage of personal equipment during the event.

Setting up your PC

Before you come to the LAN, ensure that all of your games and drivers are up to date and that you have run a full virus scan on your PC. An FTP server will be available at the event for patches and driver updates if required.

Please turn off file & printer sharing and any services which may run as a DHCP server (such as Internet Connection Sharing).

Certain spare items will be available at the event in case you forget them, or need to replace items, such as:

4-Way Power Strips
Kettle Leads
Network Interface Cards

Alsager town centre is in walking distance along with a Tesco around 3 miles drive from the venue in case you need any additional items.
