U16s & Policies
Please note that under 16s are welcome at the CLUK events, but we do encourage that they are accompanied by an adult or older friend or relative
Parents should be aware that there will be alcohol at the venue, and should we find anyone under the age of 18 in posession of any alcohol at the event we may ask them to leave without further warning
All under 16s must return a parental consent form with their payment, this form provides information for the event organisers. Shortly before the event, we will issue contact numbers so that parents may contact us at the venue

Participants must be over the age of 18 to purchase alcohol from the venue bar. All participants will be issued with a wristband to show their age on checking in to the event.
Acceptable Use Policy
All participants must read and agree to all terms of the acceptable use policy. You will be asked to confirm that you have read these items when you signup for a CentralanUK event, by signing up for the event you agree to these terms. You will also be required to sign to say you have read the policy upon arrival at the event.
Failure to adhere to all terms set out in this document may result in either a verbal warning or being asked to leave the event, depending on the severity of thebreach of terms. Whilst we do expect the LAN to be a fun event, we do need to lay down these rules in order to keep the event activities legal, and to prevent network abuse which may affect the performance of the network for other paying users. The network will be monitored at all times by event staff and staff will be active in the event hall and will be able to see all activities. The essential point of this policy is that you are at the event to play multiplayer games and to have fun. The fun is up to you to provide, we provide the network for gaming and internal communications, essentially any use other than this constitutes a breach of our AUP. In summary, such usage maybe:Transfer of software/copyrighted music/pornography or any other illegal material.
We appreciate that some transfers are necessary (drivers/patches etc) and we ask that you inform one of the admins before you directly transfer or make use of the event FTP server.We also ask that you do not plug anything into our power systems other than your PC/Monitor/Mobile Phone Charger, and that you do not plug anything other than your network card into our Centralan UK network. Only one PC per participant is allowed. Please do not bring additional hubs/switches in order to plug laptops or other devices into the event. Respect your fellow gamers; do not do anything that will spoil anyone else's fun. Keep at an reasonable level of behaviour, and do not cause damage to any property in the building. Please obey the additional rules set down by us: no smoking and no speakers on your PC. Respect the venue and its fixtures and fittings. CentralanUK & The Venue Management are not responsible for loss/damage or theft of property whether inside or outside of the venue.
All alcohol must be purchased from the venue bar as the premises are licensed.
Should any of the above terms be breached, you may be asked to leave the CentralanUK event without a refund.
